UPCOMING CHAMBER EVENTS: Snowfest 2009: 1/11/09 The Clark After Dark: 1/16/09 Chamber Dinner Meeting: 1/21/09 Williamstown Chamber's January 21st Dinner Meeting Focuses on Williams College (including finances & presidential transition) WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - January 1st - The Williamstown Chamber of Commerce's January 21st dinner meeting, hosted and by The Faculty Club at Williams College, will focus on general news regarding Williams College (including finances, presidential transition) and talk about the status of planning for building projects - those that have been postponed and those further down the road that include athletic facilities in the town center. Guest speakers for the evening will be James Kolesar, Asst. to the President for Public Affairs; and Stephen Klass, Vice President for Operations.
Please join the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce for this informative presentation on Wednesday evening, January 21st, at The Faculty Club, Corner of Main & Park St, Williamstown. A social hour with cash bar will begin at 5:30 PM, dinner at 6:30 PM, followed by the presentation. Reservations are being accepted immediately by calling the Chamber Office at 413.458.9077 or by e-mailing at info@williamstownchamber.com. (Please include your name, business, telephone number and entrée choice.) Please indicate your choice of one of the following entrées:
* Grilled Salmon with Dill Sauce * Chicken Piccatta * Meatless Medallions (tofu) with Cider Sauce
All entrees include a Mesclun Salad with grape tomatoes, fresh blueberries, dried cranberries, walnuts, saga bleu chesse, and balsamic vinaigrette....Rice Pilaf.....Piped Maple Butternut Squash...Assorted rolls with whipped butter.....Vanilla Creme Brule.....Coffee and Tea......
Please reserve by January 15th. Cancellations after this date will not be accepted. Members $28.00 and Non-Members $32.00. If an invoice is required, please request one when making reservations. Payment, in the form of cash, Mastercard or Visa credit card, or a check made payable to the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce, can be remitted in advance or at the meeting.

The Clark After Dark: Renaissance Revelry 1/16/09
It's back in time to when the Tudors ruled the palace and ruffs were all the rage. Brink your friends or any of your eight wives and Shakespeare your botty to tunes by DJ Sound Choice. Shakespeare and Company will be on hand to help you learn the art of making mayhem and how to dance the Pavane. Not sure what to wear? We'l provide the crowns and knightly shields. With wneches serving up mead wine, it will be a party fit for a king. Clark After Dark, a series of hip happenings at the Clark, takes you around the world and transports you through time with music and dancing, out-of-the-ordinary activities, exotic snacks, and late-night encounters with art. Admission is $10 ($8 members) at the door. Must be 21 or older to attend....Time 8PM - 12AM
