MOLLY KERNS OF TSUBO MASSAGE NAMED 2008 ‘EMERGING ENTREPRENEUR’ BY NATIONAL ORGANIZATION

Williamstown, Mass. (September 25, 2008) – Molly Kerns, owner of TSUBO Massage, has been selected as a 2008 Emerging Entrepreneur by the national women’s business organization Count Me In. Kerns is one of just 25 women from across the country to receive the Sam Walton Emerging Entrepreneur Award – a salute to women entrepreneurs and women’s achievements in communities around the nation.

Chosen by a distinguished panel of national business leaders, award selection is based on the entrepreneur’s core mission and vision, business practices including employee education and mentoring, involvement in the community, financial growth and years in business. On October 6, Kerns will travel to Charlotte, NC to receive the award at the Count Me In convention.

“Count Me In has been a excellent resource for the small-business owner and I’m thrilled to have been selected for the Emerging Entrepreneur Award,” said Kerns. “This organization brings tools, workshops and seminars to women across the country in the hopes of bringing a million women-owned businesses to the million-dollar revenue mark. Building community among women's businesses is truly the best way to support one another and Count Me In is doing just that,” she added.

Make Mine a Million $ Business is a program of Count Me In and founding partner American Express OPEN. The program provides access to financing, mentoring, and marketing and technology tools women entrepreneurs need to help grow their businesses. Count Me In launched the dynamic movement of Make Mine a Million $ Business to inspire one million women entrepreneurs to reach annual revenues of one million dollars by the year 2010.
